RHS Level 2 Certificate in Practical Horticulture

Woody’s Garden & Property Services are very excited to announce that 2 of our gardeners have now successfully passed their RHS Level 2 Certificate in Practical Horticulture.

Some of the area’s that were covered as part of their coursework were:

• Soil Testing
• Sowing seeds and vegetative propagation techniques
• Practical skills in ground preparation for seeding and planting
• Practical skills in establishing seeds and plants in soil
• Care and pruning of plants
• Identification of a range of common garden plants, weeds, pests, diseases, disorders and beneficial organisms
• Sustainable garden practice.

The skills that they have learned will be extremely useful for when they are working in our customers gardens.  Woody’s invest in training our staff to ensure they are qualified and have the necessary experience to be working in your garden
